Section 1 | Driver Conduct

1.1 Radio Communication

• All drivers must be in the designated Discord voice channel during events.

• Keep communications clear and race-related during green flag runs.

• Brief reactions and competitive banter are part of racing, but excessive arguing, yelling, or disrupting race communications will not be tolerated.

• Race Control communications take priority at all times.

1.2 The Beef Channel

• Got a problem with another driver? Take it to the Beef Channel in Discord.

• Keep it out of the race chat, voice comms, and public channels.

• The Beef Channel exists so you can air grievances without ruining the broadcast or the race experience for others.

• Think of it as your post-race therapy session. Use it wisely.

1.3 Respect for Competitors

• Trash talk is part of racing. Personal attacks, slurs, or harassment are not.

• If it wouldn't fly in a NASCAR post-race interview, it doesn't fly here.

• Repeated violations will result in warnings, muting, or removal from the league.

1.4 Race Control Authority

• Race Control's decisions are final during the event.

• Arguing with Race Control during a live race will result in a warning. Continued disruption may result in a penalty or disqualification.

• Post-race protests are available through the proper channels (see Section 4).

1.5 The Golden Rule

Race others the way you would want to be raced... unless it's the last lap at Talladega.

Then at least make it entertaining for the broadcast. Just kidding!

Section 2 | Race Procedures

2.1 Lobby Opening Times

• 7:30 EST for League races.

2.2 Driver Meeting Expectations

• All drivers are expected to attend the brief post-qualifying driver meeting in Discord with Race Control and the "Voice of High Line."

• No cars or trucks are permitted on track or outside of the pit box during the driver meeting.

• No burnouts or other distractions are allowed during the driver meeting.

2.3 Qualifying Format

• You are not required to qualify.

• 2-lap qualifier.

2.4 Grid Procedures

• Drivers must line up in the position assigned by iRacing. No "Choose rule."

• Starting from the pit must be approved by Race Control. A valid reason is required.

2.4A Pit Road Entry

• Drivers must enter pit road on the far right whenever possible, unless avoiding a wreck. Drivers must make every reasonable effort to enter pit road as safely as possible.

• Drivers assigned one of the first five pit boxes as cars enter pit road do not have to move to the far right and may remain to the left for safety.

• Race Control will determine the appropriate penalty based on the severity of the violation and whether other drivers are wrecked or damaged as a result of failing to follow this rule.

2.4B Pit Box Entry and Exit

• Drivers must not enter the pit boxes or pit-box lane any earlier than three pit boxes before their assigned pit box.

• Drivers must not drive through more than three pit boxes when exiting their assigned pit box. And should get to as far right on pit road as possible

• At no time is it okay to speed down pit road for any reason.

2.5 Pace Laps

• iRacing standard pace laps. Double File.

2.6 Starts / Restarts

• Initial start of the race is on the Green Flag.

• Restarts are on the leader.

2.7 Caution Procedures

• iRacing cautions.

• If a driver suspects foul play, they can request Race Control review during caution.

• Race Control may issue a manual caution if 3 or more cars are involved in a significant on-track incident.

• Follow all guidance from iRacing and Race Control.

• Upon an on-track incident, the driver claiming the caution must either type "C" in the in-game chat or verbally notify Race Control. The driver claiming the caution will be placed at the End of the Longest Line (EOL) for the restart.

• If no driver claims responsibility, Race Control will either determine a driver at fault and place them at EOL, or rule the incident a racing incident with no further action.

2.8 Lucky Dog / Wave Around

Lucky Dog is dictated by iRacing. No exceptions.

2.9 Disconnect / Connectivity Policy

• If you disconnect, that is on you. It is not the league's fault. Do your best to return.

• If you are having blinking issues, you will be required to self-EOL or you will be black flagged.

• If your issue is excessive or Race Control believes it is a major liability to the race, you will be disqualified if the issue is not rectified.

2.10 Voice Chat During Cautions

• Drivers are expected to keep voice communications clear, respectful, and race-related during events. Brief reactions and competitive banter are part of racing, but excessive arguing, yelling, or disrupting race communications will not be tolerated.

• Major disputes should be taken to the Beef Channel in Discord following the race.

• Remember: Race Control, spotters, and drivers need to hear important calls, not a 20-lap podcast about who caused the caution.

2.11 Green-White-Checkered

• Maximum of 2 Green-White-Checkered attempts.

• The race will not end under caution unless Race Control determines continuing is not possible due to server or league issues.

Section 3 | Incident & Penalty System

3.1 Blocking

Blocking is legal, but you cannot impede traffic in a dangerous manner.

Blocking a car or pack going significantly faster is not legal and will result in a penalty if there is a wreck.

3.2 Avoidable Contact

• No ARCA Braking.

• Drivers must safely slow down and do everything possible to avoid contact as a result of a caution.

• The caution will come out. Slow down!

3.3 Intentional Wrecking

• Disqualification, potential suspension, or ban from the league.

• Race Control will make the judgment call. All drivers will accept that this judgment call may not align with their thoughts, but Race Control will do the best they can to make the judgment with all fairness.

3.4 Retaliation / Intentional Post-Race Wrecking

• Retaliation is not authorized and will be treated the same as intentional wrecking.

• Intentional post-race wrecking is prohibited.

• Standard penalty: GFPT at the next race.

• If no race remains, deduct 20 points from the driver’s season total.

• If Race Control determines the wreck was retaliatory, issue a 1-race suspension.

• In the season finale, retaliatory wrecks forfeit all points earned in that race.

• A committee of at least 3 members may review retaliation.

3.5 Track Entering

• The driver entering the track should avoid other cars at all costs while entering the track. Egregiously wrecking the pack due to negligence will be treated as intentional wrecking.

• The pack should also take the appropriate action to avoid contact. Communicate with the slower cars when possible.

3.6 Jumping Starts / Lane Changes

• Drivers must maintain no more than 1 car length to the car in front during starts and restarts.

• No lane changes before the start/finish line.

• If a driver changes lanes early, Race Control may require any positions gained to be given back.

• Failure to comply results in GFPT.

• If this happens on the final lap, or is found after the race, score the driver as the last car on the lead lap.

3.7 Below the Yellow Line

Passing or cutting the course below the yellow line is prohibited unless done to avoid an incident.

A car is considered below the yellow line when both inside tires are completely beneath the yellow line. If there are 2 yellow lines, the second line is the boundary.

At tracks that utilize a white boundary line instead of a yellow line, drivers may go below the white line; however, no other driver is required to provide room or allow that car to safely re-enter the racing surface. Any contact or incident resulting from re-entering the racing surface may be subject to penalty by Race Control.

• Return positions gained or receive an EOL penalty if the move was not made in an attempt to avoid a wreck or incident.

• Final Lap Violations: Any driver determined to have illegally advanced their position below the yellow line on the final lap will be scored at the tail end of the lead-lap finishing order.

• Race Control reserves the right to issue additional penalties if the violation results in contact, reckless driving, or a significant incident involving other competitors.

3.8 Penalty & Penalty Point Report

• All in-race penalties will be issued and enforced by Race Control. Any penalty occurring on the final lap will result in the driver being scored at the rear of the lead-lap finishing order.

• The League points system will be in accordance with Sim Racer Hub.

• Points may be redacted if a driver is found to have committed a significant penalty during or after the race.

• A brief penalty report will be released within 24 hours of the race if Race Control finds a penalty on the last lap.

• The Commissioner and Race Control will not actively review incidents following the race, except for those occurring on the final lap. Drivers who believe a significant incident or penalty should be reviewed must submit their request to race officials within 48 hours of the completion of the event.

3.9 Penalty Escalation

1 WRECK EOL — End of Longest Line
2 WRECKS GFPT — Green Flag Pass Through
3 WRECKS DQ — Disqualification
DQ Escalation
2nd DQ → 1 Race Suspension

• Protests must include details and the lap of the incident.

• Anonymous protests will not be accepted.

4.2 Review Process

• Race Control will review all submitted protests and issue a ruling within 48 hours.

• Decisions made by Race Control are final unless overturned by the League Commissioner.

• Repeat offenders may face escalated penalties at the discretion of Race Control.

4.3 Frivolous Protests

• Submitting repeated frivolous or bad-faith protests may result in the protesting driver receiving a warning or penalty.

• Race Control reserves the right to dismiss any protest deemed to lack merit without further review.

4.4 In-Race Protest & Review

If a significant event occurs during the race or under caution that is not necessarily on Race Control's radar, a driver can request a review by Race Control.

Section 8 | Rule Interpretation & Drivers Meeting Authority

8.1 Drivers Meeting Authority

• Instructions, procedures, and rules stated by Race Control or the Voice of High Line during the pre-race Drivers Meeting are binding and enforceable just like the written rulebook.

8.2 No Loophole or Technicality Exploitation

• Drivers may not exploit technicalities, omissions, ambiguities, or loopholes in these rules to gain an unfair advantage or avoid the intended application of a rule.

• At High Line, drivers are expected to seek clarification first rather than rely on an “ask for forgiveness” mentality when a rule or situation is unclear.

8.3 Rare or Unforeseen Conduct

• Race Control may address rare or unforeseen conduct not specifically listed when reasonably necessary to protect safety, fairness, competitive integrity, and the league.

• In these instances, Race Control may issue the penalty he/she determines best suits the conduct, issue, or violation based on the circumstances.
