@Lark is a driver from Georgia with a pet seal named Nark. Tonight is a huge race at his home track, and with all eyes on him, he knows he needs to stay completely focused. But letting go of the past isn’t always easy. It looks like there’s someone he just can’t stop thinking about. Can Lark put those thoughts behind him and lock in before the green flag? And what exactly are his race day routines that prepare him for the biggest nights of the season? @Lark and Nark kick off race day with their usual routine. First, it’s time to get dressed, then sit down for a hearty bowl of Lug Nut Cereal before scrolling through the morning news. That’s when Lark spots what could be a major update on @Juan Escamilla status for tonight’s race.

With the news digested, the pair carry on with their race day routine the only way they know how, an all-out dance party to the Backstreet Boys. But wait… isn’t that Jerry’s blind squirrel?

In the middle of the dance off, the squirrel suddenly snatches Lark’s phone and bolts out the camper window. Where is he headed, and what’s so important about that phone?

Meanwhile, completely unaware of the squirrel’s latest theft, Race Control’s @#71 Jerry Fassett is enjoying a peaceful morning, sipping a refreshing Pedley’s Blinker Fluid while staring at his computer. Suddenly, he catches a strange smell… then smoke begins pouring from beneath his motorized chair.

The engine has officially given up. Now Jerry is in full panic mode as he tries to nurse the smoking chair back to the garage for emergency repairs. But who will be there to help him? Stay tuned throughout the day as The Adventures of High Line continues.

@Lark is a complete mess. He has to get his phone back, and fast. He tells Nark there’s secret content on it that absolutely cannot end up on Blind Squirrel Media. With no time to waste, Lark throws on his football pads… completely forgetting that he’s racing tonight, not playing football.

Now the hunt is on. But where will he begin searching for the squirrel?

Meanwhile, @Bryce Hinton and @Alex Leebaw are starting their own race day routines. Bryce is relaxing outside his hauler, sipping on a first-class martini while reading from his ever-growing encyclopedia. Across the way, Alex is getting himself race ready in his own unique fashion, building up his energy for the night ahead.

@Lark finally tracks down the Blind Squirrel, only to discover the furry thief had just cleaned @#31 Scott Wise out at his own rigged poker game. Scott is so upset, he withdraws from the race. The moment Lark locks eyes with him, the squirrel freezes in panic, clutches the phone even tighter, kicks over his chair, and bolts as fast as his titanium leg will carry him.

Meanwhile, Nark strolls over to the Helix Motorsports hauler, Sony speakers blasting at full volume. The sound is like nails on a chalkboard to @Bryce Hinton who immediately covers his ears in agony. Nark finally reveals the truth about who sabotaged Bryce’s JBL speakers.

@#100 Eric Hayden!!

Bryce slowly lowers his hands, his expression turning from irritation to disbelief… and then to pure determination. Eric has just become his next target.

@Bryce Hinton steps into the Helix hauler, already plotting his next prank on @#100 Eric Hayden. He studies his growing list of ideas, carefully deciding what his next strike will be. But what will it be?

Meanwhile, @Lark tracks the squirrel all the way to @Randy Schweitzer’s garage, where Randy is busy repairing @#71 Jerry Fassett’s chair. Just as the squirrel leaps out the window with the phone, Lark lunges after him but comes up empty. Instead, he accidentally knocks a wrench off the shelf, sending it crashing straight into Randy. Needless to say, Randy was far from pleased.

@Bryce Hinton quietly places a 500-page Caution Flag Training Manual on @#100 Eric Hayden’s race seat. Resting on top is a note that says the rest. The only question now is, will Eric actually believe it?

@#71 Jerry Fassett’s squirrel and @Lark sneak past Jim and @#100 Eric Hayden, who are completely focused on @Bryce Hinton’s latest prank while preparing for tonight’s admin duties. As @Jim Segredo looks over the so-called training manual, something doesn’t add up. Then he spots the pack of M&M’s Eric snatched and immediately puts the pieces together. With a determined look, he turns to Eric and says, “I’m paying @Josh Spragg a visit.”

Meanwhile, the squirrel and Lark wander a little farther until they arrive at a mysterious, unfamiliar hauler. With no idea what’s inside, they cautiously step through the door while Trace cant take a hint…

@Lark and @#71 Jerry Fassett’s squirrel come face to face with the ever-intimidating @Justin Crowe. Clearly irritated by the unexpected visitors, Justin warns them to leave before they regret stepping inside.

Meanwhile, @Jim Segredo storms over to the chaotic Rowdy Racing camp and confronts @Josh Spragg. Josh desperately pleads his case, insisting he’s innocent, but Jim isn’t buying a single word and refuses to let him off the hook.

@Tommy Rogers is hard at work preparing for tonight’s HLRN broadcast when @Lark’s pastor unexpectedly walks into the TV booth with some surprising news, their church will be streaming tonight’s race. (True Story). Tommy immediately goes into panic mode, trying to make sure everything fits the church scene.

Then @craig8392 pokes his head through the door. “If you need back up, I’m here for you, boss!” Tommy quickly shoos him away.

Has CSR stalled out? Did Craig sign another deal with MOTD and @#31 Scott Wise? And where are Lark and Jerry’s squirrel? The sun is beginning to set. Stay tuned for the next hour.

@Randy Schweitzer finally gets @#71 Jerry Fassett’s wheelchair back in working order… by bolting a HEMI engine to the back, the only repair method Randy knows. Problem solved… probably.

Meanwhile, @Brian Hebbard has wandered out of state once again, this time taking @Ryan Wilson21’s perpetually drunk wolf off his hands for a road trip to San Antonio. At this point, I think the wolf may have a legitimate drinking problem.

Way to go, @BrianHayes4.

@Lark and the squirrel continue their wild chase through the EchoPark Speedway garage, only to run past a particularly nasty-looking port-a-john. Judging by the evidence outside, @Juan Escamilla’s chances of making tonight’s race are looking pretty slim.

The pursuit doesn’t last long, though. A TV nearby suddenly starts playing Pokémon, and both Lark and the squirrel immediately forget what they were doing, stopping to watch “just one episode.”

Meanwhile, there simply isn’t enough room inside the Helix Hauler for @Alex Leebaw’s bed with all that brain power taking up space. Looks like he’ll be spending the night under the stars instead.

@Lark and the squirrel continue their frantic chase through the garage until the squirrel accidentally runs straight into an unordinary person in @Matthew brown49. After a brief standoff, Lark finally manages to recover his phone… or so he thinks.

Fed up with Lark’s antics, Nark suddenly snatches the phone out of his hands and waddles off toward the Driver Intro Stage, leaving Lark right back where he started.

Driver intros are officially underway at EchoPark Speedway. It looks like Nark has finally forgiven @Lark and returned his phone, but one question remains… what exactly was on it that had Lark in full panic mode?

@Juan Escamilla has somehow made it to driver intros, although it’s safe to say he’s not looking his best.

@#09STAMPER appears completely confused, while @Josh Spragg is still trying to process his heated confrontation with Jim. Meanwhile, teammate @#2 Matthew Graham is keeping his head down and simply hoping to survive the night and make it to the checkered flag.

Congratulations to @craig8392 and Prime X on an outstanding victory! The team celebrates in Victory Lane as Nark the Seal happily joins in on the festivities.

Meanwhile, tonight’s race produced no shortage of drama. @Juan Escamilla never could shake that infamous Taco Bell parasite, making a shocking left turn through the field before heading straight back to the nearest port-a-john.

As if that wasn’t enough, the night’s wreck-filled action apparently caught the attention of Georgia SWAT. By the end of the race, nearly half the field had been rounded up and hauled off to the drunk tank to sober up after the chaos that unfolded on track.

Finally Nark finally catches up with @Jim Segredo and spills everything about @Bryce Hinton. He also reveals the secret hiding on Lark’s phone. Now Jim is armed with a lot of information, but what will he do with it during the two-week break before the drivers head to Charlotte? Find out on the next episode, August 9th.
